This Jeep was created as a sample of work for a vehicle artist position under a PS2/PS3 console budget. I was instructed to have minimal detail on the interior and use only one texture that utilized a GI generated lightmap.

Taxi Cab Art Test (2004):

High-poly count: 3,436 triangles
Low-poly count: 1,410 triangles
Textures: 3 = 2-256x256, 1-64x64 (103k)

This Taxi was created as an art test for a specific studio. It has been modeled with a budget for PS2 console hardware and displays both high-detail and low-detail models for LOD. The high-detail model features opening doors and an interior suitable for in-game closeup detail.
This piece took approximately 12 - 16 hours to model, texture and set up.
